WHERE TO APPLY FOR A VISA
If you are not resident in the U.K. you should normally apply to the Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence.
If you want to visit one Schengen country, apply for a visa at the Embassy or Consulate of that country.
If you want to visit several Schengen countries, apply at the Embassy or Consulate of the country in which you intend to stay for the longest period of time.
If you intend to visit several Schengen countries but do not have a main destination, you should apply at the Embassy or Consulate of the Schengen country of your first port of entry.
You must hand in your application in person at the Embassy or Consulate of the relevant country during the opening hours.
PLEASE NOTE that Danish Consulates in the UK cannot issue visas. However, you can hand in your visa application for both Denmark and Iceland in person at the following Danish consulates:
Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Please contact the consulates directly for opening hours.
The application will then be forwarded to the Embassy for processing. Please note that the processing time can be slightly longer in these cases.
